Where we live is constantly in danger of disasters, be it fire or flood. You need a solid plan for you and your pet.

When preparing to take what you will need during an evacuation, you should prepare your pet’s needs at the same time.

Gather your pet’s essentials such as food, bowls, water, leash, toys, medicines, and even a portable kennel. Most shelters won’t allow pets, especially without a kennel.

Have your pet’s evacuation box next to your items so everything is ready to go when the time comes.
