Frosted Flakes is a three‑year‑old red heeler mix with a heart as sweet as his name. He loves people and lights up the moment someone offers a belly rub or a good head scratch. If you sit down, he’ll happily flop over like he’s auditioning to be your personal cereal mascot.

 

He’s working on building confidence around other dogs and does best with calm, respectful friends who let him ease into things. Older kids would be perfect for him since he can be shy and appreciates a gentler pace. Frosted Flakes walks beautifully on a leash and would love a home where he can shine. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’ll show you he’s not just good -he’s grrrreat.

 

Frosted Flakes is also getting ready for Pet Expo on September 19 at the shelter. He’s excited to make art with his paw prints, watch the shell game, supervise dog painting like a true artistic connoisseur, and maybe even help decorate with rock painting. He’s hoping someone special will stop by his booth, give him a scratch, and see just how grrrreat he really is.
