With a coat that looks like it was brushed with sunshine and caramel, Guero is the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere he goes. At around 55 pounds and 5 years old, this handsome pit mix has mastered the art of being both strikingly good-looking and incredibly sweet.

Guero is a world-class cuddle enthusiast who believes affection is best shared generously. Whether he’s leaning in for extra pets, soaking up attention, or simply hanging out by your side, he’s happiest when he’s with his people.

If you’re looking for a dog with a sense of style, Guero has you covered. This charming fellow recently strutted his stuff in a chicken costume and absolutely owned the look as he posed as the mascot for our Facebook Spooky Season Pet Costume Contest (see the HSLCNM Facebook page).

Equal parts gentleman, comedian, and snuggle buddy, Guero is ready to bring warmth, laughter, and plenty of love to his forever home. If you’ve been searching for a loyal companion with movie-star looks, a heart of gold, and the confidence to rock poultry-themed couture, Guero may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.
