Volunteer
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Humane Society of Lincoln County.
Each pet resident that comes to HSLC blossoms from the TLC, exercise, training and grooming which volunteers provide. Volunteers also contribute invaluable support to our staff. The care and service we are able to give our animals would not be possible without the assistance of our valuable volunteers.
What are the Requirements to be a Volunteer?
You must be at least 18 years of age or must be supervised by an adult. This means families are welcome to volunteer at the HSLC!
Adults must have a valid ID present when applying for a volunteer position at the HSLC shelter. We do perform background checks on all volunteer applicants.
Shelter Volunteers can help in a number of ways.
