Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Humane Society of Lincoln County.
Each pet resident that comes to HSLC blossoms from the TLC, exercise, training and grooming which volunteers provide. Volunteers also contribute invaluable support to our staff. The care and service we are able to our animals would not be possible without the assistance of our valuable volunteers.
What are the Requirements to be an Animal Humane Volunteer?
You must be at least 18 years of age or you must be supervised by an adult. Must have a valid ID present when filling out and applying for a volunteer position at the HSLC shelter. This means families are welcome to volunteer at the HSLC! We do perform background checks on all volunteer applicants.
