Resale Store Volunteer Opportunities
The HSLC Resale Store is a place where willing workers can make a big contribution to the success of our local Humane Society. To join as a volunteer you must be 18 years of age OR you must be supervised by an adult. Must have a valid ID present when filling out and applying for a volunteer position at the HSLC shelter. These are the attributes of a Resale Shop Volunteer:
- An honest hard worker who comes ready and willing to work – not just to shop
- A supporter of the Humane Society
- Someone who plays well with others
The sort of things a volunteer might do include:
- Sort items
- Organize, clean and dust
- Help with customer service
- Price
The hours are 10am – 4pm, Monday through Saturday.
You may work as much or as little as you choose.
