Humane Society Launches Ruidoso Cats Around Town Project
The Humane Society Lincoln County (HSLC) has announced the launch of Cats Around Town (CAT), it’s off-site adoption program created to help re-home cats outside the typical shelter environment. Modeled after the CAT program at Animal Humane New Mexico, the HSLC would like to team up with local businesses who love cats to place adoptable felines in their stores. This gives our cats even more exposure to potential adopters and allows us to care for more homeless pets at our Gavilan Canyon Animal Shelter. With kitten season quickly approaching, the shelter will need all of the room that it can get!
How It Works: The HSLC supplies CAT partners with everything your company needs, including a multi-level Cat Condo for your feline’s comfort, as well as the essentials for quality, loving care. Additionally, CAT Partners are equipped to complete adoptions onsite.
