Join us for Ruidoso’s very own kite festival including professional flyers, food vendors, and kite displays. Come out and fly your own or build one in our kite assembly booth. FREE to attend! AspenFest is kicked off with a 10:00 AM parade through Midtown, immediately followed by fun, food, music, and drinks at Wingfield Park. Don’t miss Ruidoso’s favorite fall celebration. Come see the new HSLC Blue Van in the parade ! We will have a booth in Wingfield Park. Come meet some incredible dogs. They are waiting for their new forever homes.
Join us for Midtown Trick-or-Treating on Wednesday, October 25 from 3:00 - 6:30 PM. There's a costume contest, pumpkin carving, pumpkin roll, coffin race, candy, and much more. See you there! Safe trick or treating for the family. Come see us by “No Bones About IT”! We will have treats for all and some adoptable dogs ready to meet everyone.

All members of Humane Society of Lincoln County are invited to join the yearly meeting, via Zoom. We will present the slate of recently elected officers for member approval as well as updates on shelter projects. Any member wishing to speak during the meeting please limit comments to three minutes.

World Spay Day started in 1995 to call attention to the problem of homeless pets across the country, and to promote spay/neuter to prevent pet overpopulation as well as save animals' lives.
Shelter is offering Free spay/neuter on a first come basis. Pre-registration starts February 6th 10am. Spay Day February 27.
MUST apply in person at the Shelter, resident of Lincoln Co. and 1 pet per household.
