At times we host special events, like the Furr Ball Fundraiser or events around town and we need extra help with walking the dogs or passing out information. If you would like to volunteer for any such event, please see the requirements below.
What are the Requirements to be an
Animal Humane Volunteer?
You must be at least 18 years of age or you must be supervised by an adult. Must have a valid ID present when filling out and applying for a volunteer position at the HSLC shelter. This means families are welcome to volunteer at the HSLC! We do perform background checks on all volunteer applicants.
